person singular verb forms; we do NOT need to use them in sentences. You can, but you don’t have to have them.
Copy these sentences down and then translate them into English after each one:
Estoy en la clase.
Soy de Lincoln.
Llegas hoy.

REGULAR homework for tonight:
On a separate piece of paper, copy down the FIVE English sentences below, leaving room for the translation AND any corrections. Using your vocabulary and your notes from class today; translate them into Spanish and put the paper in the homework section of your binder.
1. I like the gum.
2. You (fam.) like the turkey.
3. I like the shoes.
4. We (f) like travel and to drive.
5. I like the chicken and the grapes.
Don't forget to study for the TWO vocabulary assessments that are next week: Tuesday, February 10th - Basic Clothing and on Friday, February 13th - Basic Food Expressions and Expressing Likes and Dislikes (only the words that are not VERB forms)
If Monday is a snow day the assessment will still be on Tuesday, if Monday and Tuesday are snow days, the assessment will be on Wednesday. BE PREPARED!
