Complete the 10 Math problems and the crossword puzzle for the following vocabulary groups: Basic Time Divisions, Basic Mathematical Operations and Ordinal Numbers 1st-10th.   Study for the vocabulary assessment on these three groups of words on Friday, May 2nd for period 7 and on Monday, May 5th for period 4.

¿A qué hora…? 

a question to talk about at what time something is happening

You use “A” instead of the verb SER in the time statement part of your answer.   You will often NOT use SER in these question/answer sentences. 

  

¿A qué hora tienes tú la clase de tenis? (5:15)

¿A qué hora va Ud. al restaurante?  (6:00)

 ¿A qué hora manejan él y tú a la escuela?  (7:20 a.m.)

  

You can also use “a la/s + time phrase” in regular statements.

We have a reservation (cognate) at 8:00 p.m.

  

They (f) are going to the pool at 1:30 p.m.

 Talia and you (fam.) are taking a trip at 10:57 a.m.

Study for the Unit's usage assessment: all pink packet verbs, tener, pastimes, sports and adverbs of time and affirmation vocabulary.

Work on your FINAL draft of your pariente favorito - it is due on Friday.  You also have a grammar and vocabulary usage assessment on Friday for the pink verb packet, pastimes, sports and adverbs of time and affirmation.  STUDY notes and vocabulary.  We will do some sentence work tomorrow in class.

Write your ROUGH DRAFT for your pariente favorito paragraph - due tomorrow.  Study all of the grammar from this unit for an assessment on the pink packet verbs, adverbs from vocabulary, vocabulary of pastimes and sports as well as tener - assessment is on Friday!

Study for the -ER and -IR  verb assessment tomorrow.  Comer (to eat), Beber (to drink), Leer, Escribir & Correr are regular.  Tener, Hacer, Salir and Ir are irregular and you need to know them.
