We conducted our first oral assessment today in class on the ALFABETO.   You had to write vocabulary from the six lists below in class and what you did NOT complete in class is to be completed for homework tonight:  Frases Útiles para escuchar/ Useful Phrases to listen for Frases Útiles para decir/ Useful Phrases to say; Expressions of CourtesyDays of the Week; Months of the Year and Question Words.

Because of Pictures today during Period 3, some students did not get a chance to start the vocabulary in class.  Please follow the steps below to complete tonight's homework using the links to the six vocabulary sections above:


Follow these directions EXACTLY as they are stated!!

HOW TO WRITE SPANISH VOCABULARY in your notes

Step 1      Fold paper in half (long way).
Step 2      Open and draw a line down the crease.
Step 3      Left column label “español” and Right column label “inglés”
Step 4      Put a heading on the first line saying where the vocabulary is coming from.
                1. Frases Útiles Para Escuchar
                2. Frases Útiles Para Decir
                3. Days of the Week
                4. Months of the Year
                5. Question Words
                6. Expressions of Courtesy
These are different headings for these assignments.  Please put the headings and words on separate pages.  Using the front and back of the paper count as separate pages.
Step 5 Write the vocabulary word/phrase in Spanish on the left side and then the translation of the word/phrase on the right side of the paper.
Step 6      SKIP A LINE
Step 7      Repeat steps 5 and 6 until each word/phrase is copied into the VOCABULARY section of your binder.

PLEASE start a new paper/side when you have words from a different section.
