Spanish Possessive Adjectives

• -       nouns and possessive adjectives have both  number and gender
• -       there are only 2 sets of possessive adjectives that have gender

A Spanish Possessive Adjective…

• -       comes before the noun; just like in English.
• -       takes the place of the noun’s article, just like in English.
• -       agrees with the NOUN in number and gender NOT the owner.
